Research

I am currently a PhD candidate with the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Sydney.

My research is in the fields of masculinity studies and literary journalism, with a focus on ethnography, gender politics and multiculturalism. The project involves primary data collection via interview and survey.

In addition to my research I also work as a sessional academic, teaching on a variety of media topics including social media communication and literary journalism at the University of Sydney and in the field of international security and politics at Macquarie University.
